Soccer Recap: Independence Escapes with a Win

Independence was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They snuck past the Northside Christian Lions with a 4-3 win. The victory was some much-needed relief for Independence as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win improved Independence's record to 9-4-1. Northside Christian (7-6) has now lost three in a row.

Independence's road trip will continue as they head out to face Groveport-Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
