Soccer Game Preview: Howell vs. Troy-Buchanan

The Howell Vikings will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Troy-Buchanan Trojans at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy-Buchanan took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Howell, who comes in off a win.

Howell is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Fort Zumwalt West. Howell beat Fort Zumwalt West by a goal, winning 2-1. The game was the first time Howell have beaten Fort Zumwalt West on their pitch since May 13, 2019.

Meanwhile, Troy-Buchanan's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Howell Central by a score of 1-0. Troy-Buchanan haven't had much luck with Howell Central recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Everything went Howell's way against Troy-Buchanan in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Howell made off with a 6-0 win. Does Howell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Troy-Buchanan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
