Basketball Game Preview: Groveport-Madison Cruisers vs. Logan Chieftains

The Groveport-Madison Cruisers will venture away from home to face off against the Logan Chieftains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Groveport-Madison's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

On Tuesday, Groveport-Madison needed a bit of extra time to put away Bishop Hartley. They walked away with an 82-75 win over the Hawks. The Cruisers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 49-39 to Bloom-Carroll.

Groveport-Madison is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
