Volleyball Recap: St. Catherine's Angels vs. Dominican Knights        
        
		
             St. Catherine was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Dominican Knights, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Angels of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2023.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10,  25-14.
 Dominican can attribute much of their success to  Maddie Pickart, who  had 20  assists. Pickart is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 16 or more in the last ten games she's  played dating back to last season.
 St. Catherine's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Dominican, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record  this season.
 St. Catherine's will venture away from home to  square off against Racine Lutheran  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Racine Lutheran will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something St. Catherine's surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dominican, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nicolet  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
