            The McMahon Senators will face off against the Bunnell Bulldogs at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
McMahon is leaving town to face Bunnell after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Senators lost  13-1 to Shelton on Saturday.
  Alexa Smith was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
Meanwhile, Bunnell had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Stamford by a score of  6-5 on Tuesday. Sadly, the  defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
 Bunnell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Shea Toth, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs. Another  was  Kira Bryant, who  went 1-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Everything went McMahon's way against Bunnell when the teams last played  back in April of 2022, as McMahon made off with  a  12-5 win. Will the Senators repeat their success,  or do  the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
