Softball Recap: Rogers Falls Short of Winfield in the Playoffs

Rogers and Winfield squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Rogers had to settle for second. They came up short against Winfield, falling 14-3. Rogers hasn't had much luck with Winfield recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 19-25. As for Winfield, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 38-7.

Rogers has already played their next match, a 12-0 victory against Whitesburg Christian Academy on the 5th. As for Winfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Mars Hill Bible on the 5th.
