Soccer Recap: Wheaton North Takes a Loss

After flying high against Glenbard North last Thursday, Wheaton North came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the St. Charles East Fighting Saints by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for St. Charles East, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 17-5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wheaton North will square off against rival Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Charles East is set to challenge their familiar foe Wheaton-Warrenville South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
