Villanova Prep's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Santa Clara 3-0.

Meanwhile, Laguna Blanca put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past St. Bonaventure 4-3. Four seems to be a good number for the Owls as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Laguna Blanca pushed their record up to 8-0-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Villanova Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.
