Bellevue West won the last time they faced Kearney, and Stevie Harley did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bellevue West Thunderbirds walked away with a 43-34 victory over the Kearney Bearcats on Saturday thanks in part to Harley, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 20 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Bellevue West's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Kearney, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellevue West will challenge Lincoln Southwest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellevue West is facing Lincoln Southwest at the right time seeing as Lincoln Southwest is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kearney, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bearcats challenge the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
