Basketball Game Preview: Rudyard Bulldogs vs. Engadine Eagles

Rudyard and Engadine are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Rudyard Bulldogs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Engadine Eagles at 5:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rudyard lost 52-30 to Cedarville on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Engadine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 84-13 loss at the hands of St. Ignace. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 618th, while the Saints are ranked 34th).

Rudyard now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Engadine, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Rudyard strolled past Engadine when the teams last played back in January by a score of 50-33. Will Rudyard repeat their success, or does Engadine have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
