Baseball Recap: Lawton Takes a Loss

Lawton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eisenhower Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Lawton's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Eisenhower, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawton will venture away from home to challenge Southeast at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eisenhower, they will head out to take on Edmond Santa Fe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
