Kellyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Hennessey Eagles 40-8. The Ponies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

It was another big night for Gunnar Holder, who threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes for Hennessey. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Weber, who picked up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
