Basketball Game Preview: Muldrow Bulldogs vs. Checotah Wildcats

The Muldrow Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Checotah Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muldrow will be strutting in after a win while Checotah will be coming in after a loss.

Muldrow can't be too worried about heading out to take on Checotah: they just beat Central at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Muldrow claimed a resounding 64-35 victory over Central. The Bulldogs have beaten the Tigers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Checotah came up short against Sallisaw on Friday and fell 55-48. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Muldrow's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for Checotah, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Muldrow was able to grind out a solid victory over Checotah in their previous matchup back in January, winning 58-50. Will Muldrow repeat their success, or does Checotah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
