Volleyball Game Preview: Millikan Rams vs. Compton Tarbabes

Millikan is a perfect 10-0 against Compton since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rams will challenge the Tarbabes at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Millikan came up short against Woodrow Wilson and fell 3-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Millikan started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Compton came up short against Lakewood on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-14.

Millikan's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Compton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Everything went Millikan's way against Compton when the teams last played back in September, as Millikan made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
