Christian County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of NeVaeh Day, who went 9 for 18 on her way to 25 points in addition to seven boards and five steals, and Anaysia Bagwell, who went 9 of 20 on her way to 28 points. That's the most points Bagwell has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of DEbony Anderson, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Owensboro's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Christian County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
