Denver South and Chaparral squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Denver South had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 3-2. The Ravens' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Chaparral's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jenna Baller led the charge by getting 11 digs and four assists. Baller is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Denver South's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Chaparral, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-6.
