Baseball Recap: MISL CTX Victorious

The MISL CTX Crusaders earned a 10-7 win over the Blanco Panthers on Monday.

The team relied heavily on TJ Staley, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Butler, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

MISL CTX's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Blanco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 1-4-1 record this season.

MISL CTX will challenge Allegiance at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Blanco, they will square off against Mason at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
