Basketball Game Preview: Western Branch Bruins vs. Deep Run Wildcats

Having just played yesterday, the Western Branch Bruins will get right back to it and host the Deep Run Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Western Branch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.

Western Branch is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Hickory 88-47. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bruins with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Deep Run had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 49-43 W over Grassfield on Saturday.

Deep Run's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Western Branch, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
