Baseball Game Preview: Sidwell Friends Quakers vs. Saint James Saints

For the second straight game, Sidwell Friends will face off against Saint James. The Quakers will welcome the Saints at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Sidwell Friends is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Saint James 17-5 on Tuesday. The Quakers haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

For Saint James' part, Calvin Moss was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Moss has become a key player for the Saints: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Jaxson Bell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Sidwell Friends' victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Saint James, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
