Paul VI and Cherry Hill West are an even 5-5 against one another since June of 2017, but likely not for long. The Eagles will face off against the Lions at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Cherry Hill West will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Paul VI extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Eagles came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Sterling.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Cherry Hill West ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Sterling 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.

Cherry Hill West pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Paul VI, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Paul VI was able to grind out a solid win over Cherry Hill West when the teams last played back in April, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
