Basketball Recap: Amari Dunson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead South Delta over Port Gibson + How To Watch

South Delta lost against Port Gibson back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Waves. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amari Dunson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Justin Stamps was another key player, shooting 45% from the field on his way to 13 points and eight boards.

South Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Port Gibson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Delta will host Humphreys County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Gibson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Piney Woods at 7:30 p.m.
