Schwartz Made His Presence Known in Upper Perkiomen's 37-9 Victory

Starting off the list is Upper Perkiomen's Zach Schwartz, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Schwartz rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. He is becoming a predictor of Upper Perkiomen's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 4-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Williams must have Pottsgrove's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Williams rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in October of 2023.

Pope John Paul II Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Luke Terlesky

Pope John Paul II picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Luke Terlesky. Terlesky was unstoppable, throwing for 223 yards and five touchdowns on only ten passes, while also rushing for 31 yards.

On the season, Terlesky has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 166.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.44 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 34 rushing yards.

Mikhi Dargan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pottsgrove over Phoenixville

Pottsgrove had to settle for second on Friday, but Mikhi Dargan sure wasn't going down easily. Dargan was unstoppable, rushing for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards.

This season, Dargan has run in 17 touchdowns while averaging 127.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six rushing touchdowns.

Trey Lear Delivers Best Performance of Season

Phoenixville was led to victory by Trey Lear, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lear rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns.

For the season, Lear has averaged 31.1 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 19.5 receiving yards per game.
