Recap: Crandall Pirates vs. Lancaster Tigers
It was a good run, but the Crandall Pirates unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by Lancaster 82-47. Crandall has struggled against Lancaster recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Crandall lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being dylan franklin, who scored 14 points. ty hurndon was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Crandall's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-14. As for Lancaster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crandall will take on Terrell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Terrell comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Lancaster, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Oak at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Red Oak is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
