Softball Recap: George Jenkins Takes a Loss

George Jenkins and Newsome squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but George Jenkins had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

George Jenkins' defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Newsome, their win bumped their record up to 21-6.

As of now, neither George Jenkins nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
