Baseball Recap: North Port Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sarasota, North Port was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Booker Tornadoes a 10-0 shutout. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

North Port pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Booker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as North Port Bobcats duke it out with Hardee Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Booker, they will host Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
