Jay never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Baker Gators 10-0. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Hayden Morris was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Jay is undefeated when Morris posts two or more runs, but 7-10 otherwise.

In other batting news, Brady Godwin and Cooper Harrison did most of the damage at the plate: Godwin went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Harrison went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
