The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Vista Ridge Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Fountain-Fort Carson lost to Douglas County on the road by a 54-40 margin.

Fountain-Fort Carson might have lost, but man, Darianna Rodriguez-Smith was a machine: she went 7 for 14 on her way to 20 points and six steals. With that strong performance, Rodriguez-Smith is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Dissani Lynch, who posted seven points.
Meanwhile, Vista Ridge was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Rampart 53-25. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 28 points or more this season.
Vista Ridge's win came from a few key players Fountain-Fort Carson will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jasmine Byers, who went 6 of 9 en route to 16 points and four steals. Her evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Kaiser, who went 8 for 12 on her way to 23 points and three steals.
Vista Ridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rampart only posted five assists.
Vista Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Fountain-Fort Carson has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 27.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Vista Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
