Gaither and Alonso are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gaither is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Alonso entered their tilt with Leto last Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Falcons. Considering the Ravens have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Laine Anderson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Leah Hernandez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.
Alonso was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.
Alonso now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Gaither, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4.
Gaither came out on top in a nail-biter against Alonso when the teams last played on March 4th, sneaking past 2-0. Will Gaither repeat their success, or does Alonso has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
