Volleyball Preview: Valhalla Vikings vs. Dobbs Ferry Eagles
The Valhalla Vikings will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Dobbs Ferry Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted against the Eagles since September 9, 2015.
Valhalla wouldn't go down easily and took Dobbs Ferry into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 24-26, 22-25, 15-8.
Valhalla will need to focus on slowing down Taylor Denike, one of several Dobbs Ferry players who made an impact when they last played. She had 20 digs, 11 kills, and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Natasha Mansfield, who had 14 kills, 12 digs, and four aces.
