Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Battle Creek

Battle Creek had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Santa Fe Wildcats with a sharp 14-2 win. With that victory, the Grizzlies brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Brody Swoish, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Battle Creek's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 3-10 when he doesn't).
