Metrolina Christian Academy won the last time they faced Porter Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates.

Metrolina Christian Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-30, 25-18, 25-18.

Tyler Gadd paced Metrolina Christian Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Gadd got some help from Daniel Titherington and his 28 assists. Gadd was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Metrolina Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Porter Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
