Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only White Pine walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 55-11 win over the Awaken Christian Lions. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Brenley Skadburg, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. What's more, she also posted a 56% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Presley Skadburg, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 12 points.

White Pine is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.9 points over those games. As for Awaken Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Coming up, White Pine won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lincoln County at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln County will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something White Pine surely won't give up without a fight. Awaken Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
