After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elkins, Calhoun was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Clay County Panthers by a score of 11-7. The high-scoring effort was just what the Red Devils needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat Calhoun by a score of 19-4 later that day.
