Softball Recap: Saline Has No Trouble Against Ringgold

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Saline and Ringgold, and Saline kept the tradition alive. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Redskins on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Saline is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Ringgold, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saline will host Jonesboro-Hodge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ringgold, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
