Basketball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler lost against Lowell back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats took a hard 59-45 fall against the Red Devils.

Despite the loss, Wheeler still got an impressive performance from Nick Scott, who shot 86% from the field on his way to 20 points. Scott has also also been stellar as far as three-point shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 43% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Conner Welch, who posted six points.

Wheeler now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lowell, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wheeler will host River Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lowell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Griffith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
