Basketball Recap: Bottineau Comes Up Short

Bottineau was the 65-55 winner over Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bottineau Braves/Stars were dealt a 69-42 defeat at the hands of the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks on Thursday. The Braves/Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bottineau's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Bottineau will head out to challenge Nedrose at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bottineau is facing Nedrose at the right time seeing as Nedrose is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, they will be playing at home against Tioga at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
