Volleyball Recap: Warren's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Warren waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-23.

Elayna Greenwalt paced Warren's offense, picking up 19 kills. Greenwalt got some help from Mya Stemple and her 37 assists. Remi Elzey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Warren's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Nelsonville-York, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Warren didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Alexander on the 23rd. As for Nelsonville-York, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Trimble on the 23rd.
