Volleyball Recap: Bear Grass Charter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bear Grass Charter lost against Farmville Central back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears came up short against the Jaguars, falling 3-0.

While Bear Grass Charter was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Farmville Central's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-21.

Farmville Central found their leader in sophomore Kendall Kingrey, who had 14 digs and three aces. Kingrey is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Bear Grass Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Farmville Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Pitt on the 18th. Hopefully Bear Grass Charter paid attention to the Jaguars' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
