For the second straight game, East Union will face off against Sierra. East Union will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Sierra at 4:00 p.m. East Union is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

East Union is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Sierra on Monday. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 11-1.

For Sierra's part, Koa Rodrigues looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rodrigues has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Reyes, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Bauer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Sierra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.

Sierra moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for East Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
