Basketball Recap: Dublin Jerome Takes a Loss

Dublin Jerome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Archbishop Hoban Knights and fell 52-21. While losing is never fun, the Celtics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 645th, while the Knights are ranked ninth).

Dublin Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Archbishop Hoban, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dublin Jerome will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Dublin Scioto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will head out to challenge Chaney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
