Plainfield South got themselves on the board against Joliet Central on Tuesday, but Joliet Central never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Steelmen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-0 on Monday.

Plainfield South has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Joliet Central, their loss was their 14th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-27.
