Baseball Recap: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Greeley Central Wildcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain View). They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Greeley Central Wildcats on Monday. The Mountain Lions have beaten the Wildcats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.
Tristan Gilbert was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Mountain View: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Derek Parker, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
