Basketball Recap: Secaucus Comes Up Short

Secaucus suffered their closest defeat since December 28, 2023 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Eastern Christian Eagles by a score of 45-42. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.

Secaucus' defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Eastern Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Secaucus will welcome North Star Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wood-Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th.
