Softball Recap: Perkins Comes Up Short

Perkins came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-3 to the Bellevue Redmen. The Pirates have struggled against the Redmen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Perkins saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alanya Wade, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Perkins' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Bellevue, their record is now 10-11.

Coming up, Perkins will face off against South Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bellevue, they will take on Sandusky at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
