Perry had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Destiny Christian Wildcats with a sharp 10-2 win. Considering the Maroons have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Destiny Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Perry will head out to take on Pawnee at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Maroons are facing the Black Bears at the right time seeing as the Black Bears are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Destiny Christian, they will challenge Wellston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
