Washington Leadership Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zyahir Mack out in front who posted 35 points. The dominant performance gave Mack a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Clarke, who had 23 points.
Meanwhile, Idea had to suffer through a 78-51 loss at the hands of Parkside. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Washington Leadership Academy will have to keep a close watch on Sidy Koite and Kaidyn Lewis, a pair of players who had a big impact on Idea's prior game. Koite went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks, while Lewis went 7 of 12 on his way to 17 points. Koite is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Demonta King, who scored six points.
