Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Christian Has No Trouble Against Mentor Christian

First Baptist Christian lost to Mentor Christian back in October, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Sabres were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Mentor Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Sabres have posted against Mentor Christian since October 13, 2022.

The win didn't come easy: Mentor Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Kate Burman paced First Baptist Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Burman got some help from Joanna Wacker and her 20 assists. Kara Gravley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

First Baptist Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Mentor Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

As of now, neither First Baptist Christian nor Mentor Christian have any future games scheduled.
