Fowlerville had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the East Lansing Trojans 9-7. The win continues a trend for the Gladiators in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Perras, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Wyatt Soli was another key player, going 1-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Fowlerville will have a chance to go back-to-back against East Lansing: the pair will be back at it again later today.
