Soccer Recap: Tombstone's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Desert Christian, Tombstone was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-4 win over the Morenci Wildcats. Considering the Yellow Jackets' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Joel Kotchikian and Brendan Francis-Caballero scored all six of Tombstone's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Tombstone's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Morenci, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Santa Cruz Valley the next time they take the pitch. Tombstone will head out to face Santa Cruz Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Morenci will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
