Basketball Recap: Forest Area Takes a Loss

Forest Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 28-14 to the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Snowbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-5 back in December of 2024.

Forest Area's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for St. Mary Cathedral, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Area will welcome Central Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Mary Cathedral, they will be playing at home against Onaway at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
